THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT ORDNANCE SYSTEMS MECHANIC T32, PDD1736P01 and is part of the AZ 162nd Wing, National Guard.
Major duties
This position is located with the 162nd WG 214th in Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. The primary purpose of the position is to troubleshoot, repair, install, modify, test and adjust aircraft ordnance systems, equipment and components. On and/or off-equipment inspection, modification, overhaul, troubleshooting and repair capability of weapons release and gun systems; verifies and analyzes malfunctions, troubleshoots, tests, inspects and loads/unloads conventional munitions; installs/removes weapons delivery equipment, launchers and gun systems. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
What you need to qualify
Military Grades: E-3/A1C to E-6/TSgt Compatible Military Assignments: Must possess 2W1X1 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 24 months of experience or training in planning and layout of repair sequence and ability to complete modification, repair, and installation of ordnance systems. Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions and determining remedies where complex relationships exist. Experience in hand tools and the use of a variety of measuring and test equipment. Experience in interpreting technical directions, blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's specifications.
