What you'd do

This position is located at Fort Lee, VA - DFMWR Outdoor Recreation. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Please note: This is an open continuous announcement to provide a ready pool of available applicants as needed. Applicants will be referred as vacancies occur.

Major duties

Registers patrons, collects usage fees, issues targets and sales ammunition and other resale items. Provides instructions on the rules and safety of the range and paintball fields. Monitors patrons for compliance with rules and safety and corrects violations immediately. Assists patrons by pulling for skeet, trap or 5-stand. Unloads supplies and stocks clay target machines. Helps maintain assigned area/areas in clean and orderly condition sweeping, moping, dusting, removing trash, etc. Schedule tour of duty will require evenings, weekends and holiday work hours. Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to qualify

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Applicant must be 18 year of age. Must have a valid motor vehicle license. Must possess good customer service skills. Knowledge and ability to use a computer and cash register. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": At least 6 months experience performing related duties described above to include knowledge of paintball and clay target sports. At least 6 months experience working on a shooting or paint ball range.
