What you'd do

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Scott AFB Bowling Center. This is a Flexible position, guaranteed 0-40 hours.

Major duties

Assists in cleaning, oiling, and polishing the bowling lanes. Sweeps, dusts, and cleans other areas of the bowling facility; collects and removes trash; and maintains all areas in a clean and orderly fashion. Hand sands and varnishes minor flaws in lanes until surface can be conditioned. Assists in making minor corrective adjustments to bowling lane machinery as necessary, and performs periodic minor preventive maintenance on automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Knowledge in the maintenance of bowling lanes. Must be able to use, control and clean common hand tools and heavy powered equipment. Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps.
