Major duties
Performs lifeguarding duties and employs safety rules for the protection of the pool guests. Responsible for lifeguarding guests in attendance at the assigned aquatics facility. Rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required. Assists in maintaining pool and area clean and free from any hazards.
What you need to qualify
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess and maintain the following certifications: Lifeguard (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard or Ellis.) American Red Cross Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional. CPR for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent (i.e. Star Guard or Ellis.) First Aid. In addition, candidate must possess customer service experience. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Criteria is verified within the application package. American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard or Ellis Lifeguard Instructor Certification. American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard or Ellis Water Safety Instructor Certification.
