This MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR position, is located in the Distribution Section of the Deployment and Distribution Flight, Logistics Readiness Squadron, Mission Support Group, at an ANG Aviation Wing and is part of the CA 129 RQW. This is an open until filled announcement. The announcement will be posted until all positions have been filled. Major duties

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, INDEFINITE POSITION Indefinite appointment cannot exceed 5 years. Selectee may be non-competitively converted to permanent status if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered. The primary purpose of the MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR, WG-5703-8, is to perform a variety of duties relating to materiel distribution activities, including organic ground transportation for cargo and personnel. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.

What you need to qualify

General Experience: Possess experience or training which demonstrates the ability to follow instructions and safely operate the type of equipment required to accomplish the duties of the position. MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR, WG-5703-8: Must have at least 12 months of experience which demonstrates the ability to operate and perform operator maintenance on straight-in-line trucks which typically have an approximate gross vehicle weight of more than 32,000 pounds; experience demonstrating ability to operate truck tractors with semi-trailers or full trailers and motor coaches; experience operating vehicles over a variety of roads including interstate highways, narrow country roads, and on steep winding grades; experience driving vehicles without mishap in complicated traffic situations. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: Ability to Drive Safely (Motor Vehicles) and Ability to Operate Safely (Non-Motor Vehicle) Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (related to mobile equipment operation) Vehicle Maintenance Vehicle Operation
