Major duties

You will develop, implement, and monitor procedures to protect information systems, analyze vulnerabilities, and ensure that all systems operate reliably while maintaining security and compliance standards. You will assess system and business requirements, provide guidance on new solutions, prepare cost estimates, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective system implementation. You will lead, mentor, and evaluate team members, resolving conflicts, providing feedback, and guiding their professional development while promoting a positive and productive work environment. You will perform security evaluations, audits, and testing, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed and that corrective actions are implemented when security issues are identified. You will gather, analyze, and preserve evidence related to system operations and security events, providing actionable recommendations to prevent issues and improve overall system integrity. You will plan, coordinate, and track project milestones, schedules, and performance metrics, ensuring timely delivery of objectives while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and priorities. You will advise leadership on information system improvements, prepare reports and recommendations, and assist in decision-making to enhance operational efficiency, system performance, and organizational security posture

What you need to qualify

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Expert knowledge of and demonstrated experience in applying Information Technology and Assurance principles and practices. 2. Ability to work on a diverse team engaged in Defense Acquisition program management activities. 3. Expert Knowledge of Risk Management Framework, Department of Defense Instruction (Do Di) 8510.0lp and the DoDi 8500.02p as necessary. 4. Expert knowledge of the INFOSEC and SVSANALYSIS duties that are identified above. 5. Expert knowledge of a minimum of one of the following: a) Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework b) Knowledge of information systems security controls c) Knowledge of information assurance security certification and accreditation processes. d) Knowledge of Systems Engineering e) Knowledge of Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) integration and certification and/or joint Integration f) Ability to identify and resolve interoperability and integration issues to achieve an integrated capability g) Develop DoDAF architectural products for ingestion into MAGTF Collaborative Architecture Environment (MCAE) h) Develop mission threads and Measures of Effectiveness/Performance to evaluate mission performance i) Develop strategic modernization plans enhance the capability and efficiency of the MAGTF 6. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
