UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR
What you'd do
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Position Description Number T6377000 and is part of the 105TH AW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Veterans' preference does not apply to this vacancy due to internal merit promotion.
Major duties
As a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR (GS-0303-07) you will support the Commander's Support Staff (CSS) and Orderly Room (CCQ) operations at the Squadron. The incumbent is subordinate to and assists the lead CSS in managing daily administrative and unit-level support, executes assigned programs in line with the Personnel Services Delivery Guide (PSDG), and supports training of personnel to maintain mission readiness and compliance with Air Force policies.
What you need to qualify
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which indicates the candidate performed progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have one year experience equivalent to the next lower grade level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Must have experience supporting the administration of military personnel management programs including requesting personnel actions such as promotions, evaluations, awards, and leave. Must have experience providing customer service and guidance on organizational personnel policies and procedures. Must have experience monitoring personnel records and supports preparation of routine personnel actions with guidance from higher graded HR Specialist. Must have experience assisting commanders, supervisors, and employees in understanding personnel policies and procedures. Must have experience collecting, compiling, and organizing data for reports and briefings. Must have experience supporting the workflow and assisting with assignments among administrative personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks.
