Major duties

As a HEALTH TECHNICIAN-Title 32, GS-0640-8, you will manage and accomplish work in the area of personnel medical readiness management and reporting; provide quality assurance and advisory services to subordinate units.

What you need to qualify

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which involves the exercise of analytical ability, judgment, discretion, and personal responsibility, and application of a substantial body of knowledge of principles, concepts and practices applicable to one or more fields of administration or management. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the GS-0640-08 level, you must have at least 18 months experience, education, or training which provided a working knowledge of missions, organizations, programs and requirements of health care delivery systems. Experience analyzing and recommending solutions to complicated problems. Experience developing and implementing various policies and procedures used in the state medical programs. Experience involving various administrative areas such as budget, personnel and public relations within a medical activity.
