Major duties
Plans and executes a variety of administrative functions. Performs a variety of internal administrative management services. Provides administrative and logistical support and overall office management for the supervisor and/or staffin connection with the accomplishment of assigned functions. Oversees, coordinates, and performs the service and supply functions for the office. Reviews plans, programs, and regulations pertaining to personnel, automation, analysis, and administration
What you need to qualify
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Knowledge of management principles, practices, and techniques to provide administrative services to the organization, analyze administrative practices, and recommend improvements in administrative procedures and policies. Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to exercise discretion. Must be able to manage competing priorities under strict deadlines, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Must have knowledge of Federal travel regulations, governing authorizations, entitlements and allowances. Must have an in-depth knowledge of, and experience in protocol procedures for VIP visits, courtesy calls and the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in coordinating visits and greeting senior executives from inside and outside the Government. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": At least one year of previous or current experience working in an Army NAF or Appropriated Fund administrative or office management position. Experience managing executive calendars, screening communications, and applying protocol procedures for VIP visits and Senior Leader interactions. Experience preparing military correspondence, compiling Situation Reports (SitReps), creating Senior Leader briefings, and tracking suspense items using task management systems (e.g., Task Management Tool). Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for collaboration, and ARIMS for records management. Experience must be reflected on your resume!
