LEAD LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a LEAD LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL AIR TECHNICAL DATA AND ENGINEERING SERVICE CENTER, AVIATION READINESS & RESOURCE ANALYSIS DEPT DISTRIBUTION BRANCH of NV AIR TECHNICAL DATA AND ENGRG SVC.
Major duties
You will analyze branch operations and develop new or revised logistics management policies and procedures related to all facets of technical manuals distribution. You will direct installation of and training for new and revised manual distribution control systems, including digital data systems. You will analyze plans and install requirements for logistics management data programs and recommend related changes. You will coordinate resolution of logistics technical manual distribution-related problems, including inventory balances, stock replenishment and automated distribution system maintenance.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading, coaching, and mentoring others to maintain the high standards of accurate and authorized technical data availability and customer service to the Fleet and other customers. Utilizing knowledge and experience in leading teams, planning and coordinating work assignments, evaluating mission execution, and providing feedback. Providing experience developing briefs and reports, as well as experience in briefing leadership on topics related to technical data and technical data management. Applying knowledge of technical data policies, processes, products tools and operating procedures to support the end-to-end technical data lifecycle and resolve customer technical data requests. Leading and coordinating customer response activities by accepting, triaging, assigning, and tracking technical data support requests, while analyzing trends and performance metrics to improve team mission effectiveness.
