SUPERVISORY AUDIOLOGIST
What you'd do

Major duties
You will oversee the organization, direction, and management of occupational audiology and hearing loss prevention services. You will monitor emerging research and clinical trends to continuously integrate advanced care techniques. You will optimize resource allocation and productivity by managing staff schedules, establishing workflow priorities, and distributing assignments. You will oversee audiometric testing, education, and follow-up care for individuals exposed to hazardous noise levels. You will design and coordinate hearing loss prevention training plans and programs.
What you need to qualify
In addition to the basic education and licensing requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning, directing, and managing occupational audiology services and the Hearing Conservation Program (HCP) or similar. Experience overseeing the staffing, budget, equipment and supply inventory for all occupational audiology and HCP services. Experience delegating assignments and complex projects based on staff capabilities and providing technical guidance. Experience overseeing audiometric testing, education and follow-up to ensure standardized care.
