SUPV CONTRACT SPEC
What you'd do
You will serve as a Supervisory Contract Specialist in the Operations Management Department, Contracts Division of STRATEGIC WEAPONS FACILITY PACIFIC.
Major duties
You will provide expertise on overall business approaches and contractual strategies for structuring acquisitions. You will act as a key consultant on the relationship between technical specifications, delivery requirements and acquisition strategies. You will develop schedules for the negotiation and execution of all procurements, establish realistic deadlines and monitor accomplishments presented to senior leadership to ensure timely delivery. You will provide determinations related to resources utilization, project direction, shifts in program emphasis, long range planning and alignment with organizational goals. You will establish technical proficiencies, policies, organization and command structure, budget, and public relations relating to the Contracting Office. You will facilitate and coordinate tasks necessary to ensure timely responses to ensure timely responses to all acquisition related data calls, both internally generated and externally requested.
What you need to qualify
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading and performing life cycle contractual actions to procure supplies or services for an organization, evaluating manpower and auditing contracting actions in support of program goals and objectives.
