What you'd do

You will serve as a Supervisory IT Project Manager (PLCYPLN) in the Installation Planning & Execution division, Logistics and Life Cycle Engineering department of NIWC ATLANTIC.

Major duties

You will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing a technical workforce, providing oversight of workforce development, and offering policy, process, and implementation guidance. You will support the installation of C4ISR and Information Technology (IT) systems on afloat or ashore platforms. You will work with senior leadership to plan and manage technical and facilities requirements, forecast and allocate human resources, and ensure compliance with applicable processes and policies. You will set employees' performance expectations and evaluate employee contributions. You will approve leave and travel recommendations, establish training plans, and provide technical and career advice. You will recommend awards and promotions. You will resolve work problems and enforce policy and guidelines for employees.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supporting the installation of C4ISR and information technology systems, providing administrative procurement and personnel management support, and performing various supervisory duties. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
