What you'd do

This position is located at Road Runner Lanes Bowling Center, WSMR, NM. This is an open continuous announcement to provide a ready pool of available applicants as needed. Applicants will be referred to selecting officials as vacancies occur based on the date of application. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Major duties

Prepare food by peeling, chopping, grinding, paring, cutting, slicing, dicing, pureeing, dredging, flouring, or breading. Operates a variety of kitchen equipment using gas, electricity, steam or microwave heat sources. Disassembles, cleans and assembles component parts and accessories, following safety procedures to avoid personal injury and damage to the equipment. Cleans, stores, and maintains all equipment and work areas after each use. Follows established sanitation procedures when handling food. Ensure that foods are stored at the correct temperatures to prevent bacteria growth. Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to qualify

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience in preparing foods and cooking simple foods and short orders in a cafeteria, restaurant, or mess. Demonstration of the following work behavior is desirable: Neatness and good grooming. Dependability. Ability to work under pressure. NOTE: The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents. A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application.
