Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.

Major duties

What to Expect: Carries out assigned phases of designated activity applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants. Demonstrates procedures common to the activities, and instructs in the use of related tools and equipment. Prepares consolidated Daily Accounting Reports and audits Daily Resale Price Control Reports. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance. Performs other related duties as assigned.

What you need to qualify

What are we looking for? Two years minimum experience in customer service, preferably in a recreational or automotive related activity. Ability to operate a personal computer with peripheral equipment. Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures, be familiar with currency and negotiability requirements, and be able to operate a cash register. Must be familiar with rules, etiquettes and safety procedures associated with the facility, an automotive service station or a similar facility. Basic knowledge of hand tools used for automotive repairs.
