About the Position: with the Defense Health Agency. It is located in the Family Medicine Service Clinic at SouthCom United States Army Garrison Miami, Doral, FL. The Primary purpose of the position is to serve as a serves as a Practice Manager (PM) for one or more complex, multi-faceted, medical practice(s). This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Major duties
Ensure the clinic maintains continual compliance with the Joint Commission (TJC) ambulatory care standards for accreditation and the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) standards. Oversee systems for the purchase of materials and equipment, reviews and makes recommendations for temporary duty (TDY) requests, training, and other expenditures. Resolve complex and unusual healthcare administration issues. Assist in the development and implementation of effective patient care systems to achieve practice compliance with MEDCOM policies, manuals and Operations Orders for the practice. Develop healthcare provider utilization, support staff, space and equipment utilization models that optimize coding accuracy for revenue production in terms of Relative Value Units. Monitor business processes to ensure effective and efficient clinical operations, leading change with multi-disciplinary teams.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes to identifying and reducing the risk of adverse events in a healthcare facility; monitoring health care information to improve delivery of health care systems; And providing administrative guidance on policies/regulations. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
