What you'd do

This position is located within Commander, Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program. The purpose of this position is to provide beverage service in a dining room, bar/lounge facility.

Major duties

Operates a limited service bar such as portable bars for private parties and banquets. Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, receives and records payment at time of sale, and maintains inventory of stock. Ensures bar is in a presentable and sanitary conditions. Performs other related duties as required. Must meet minimum age requirement

What you need to qualify

A qualified candidate must possess: Knowledge of basic arithmetic and cash handling procedures to compute charges and make change quickly and accurately. Must possess working knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures. Must be a mature individual who can exercise control over a large group of people to ensure good order and discipline as necessary. Must possess working knowledge and skill to mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from a limited bar. A minimum of six months experience is strongly preferred.
