What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS SPECIALIST in the SAFETY AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS division of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Major duties

You will be responsible for the management of programs ensuring continuity of providing mission essential support services to shore based commands throughout the AOR. You will develop performance plans and evaluates employees. You will determine goals and objectives that require additional emphasis and works with operations and PWOs to improve productivity. You will track budget execution and determines options for resolving budget and resources shortfalls. You will be responsible for developing and implementing streamlined business practices that promote teamwork and improved communication and improve production and the quality of work directed.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising on matters concerning MAXIMO and management of Mobile Devices; 2) Providing briefs and reports for MAXIMO details; 3)Setting priorities and scheduling work to ensure accomplishment of priority work; 4) Developing and/or evaluating process improvement initiatives; 5) Recommending changes based on analysis; 6) Programming Microsoft Access to analyze data performance/cost, and write programs which produce interactive reports and provide data analysis.
