SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst in the Mission Area Support Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Major duties
You will provide financial management support, analysis, advice, and guidance for acquisition of training systems for multiple warfare areas. You will perform or advises on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will be analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization’s programs and administrative operations. You will be implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets; and providing advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization’s programs and activities. You will provide direct supervision to the members of the Budget Execution Division, assuring work efforts serve to meet mission.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 (GS-9/12) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must meet the following: 1) Applying concepts, principle, practices, laws and regulations of Navy Working Capital Fund execution and/or financing and their relation to subordinate and senior levels; 2) Utilizing multiple appropriations and fiscal law/regulations/policies as well as the procedures governing them; 3) Providing advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the Navy Working Capital Fund organization programs and activities; 4) Evaluating budget requests and reporting of obligations and expenditures; 5) Applying interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills to assist in the development of an effective team.
