TRAINING TECHNICIAN (STUDENT MANAGEMENT)
What you'd do
You will serve as a TRAINING TECHNICIAN (STUDENT MANAGEMENT) for CNATT UNIT KEESLER AFB.
Major duties
You will perform clerical and technical work in the creation, review, and distribution of student management related forms and documentation utilizing applicable computer software, systems, applications, and related equipment. You will receive, review, scan, submit, and verify receipt and processing of student management related forms and documentation into applicable computer software, systems, and applications for approval by the Personnel Support Department (PSD). You will provide clerical assistance to instructors, personnel, higher level training technicians, and supervisors in order to facilitate the administration of course related processes and resources. You will perform pay and travel processes and functions for students, such as- per diem, travel provisions, billeting arrangements, and travel advance requests, etc. You will provide guidance and assistance to lower-level training technicians in appropriate student management functions and processes, related to administration, pay, travel, billeting, liaison, course materials and related resources, etc.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying military rank/rate structure, pay, travel regulations, and experience in validating/processing pay, travel, and travel order requests; 2) Managing curriculum status to ensure enrollment is correct; 3) Extracting and analyzing data from learning management systems to provide forms, documents, or reports on individual students; 4) Utilizing electronic software to prepare correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets; and 5) Verifying information for database entry.
