International Travel Coordinator
What you'd do
The Office of International Affairs is seeking a Program Specialist (International Travel Coordinator), SK-0301-12 in the Technical Assistance, Legal Compliance, and Planning Group in Washington, DC. As an International Travel Coordinator, you will provide support for collecting and maintaining information on the agency's international engagements, including intake of travel requests, approvals, budget execution, policy compliance, logistics, and communications.
Major duties
In this role as an International Travel Coordinator, you will be responsible for: Coordinating leadership reviews/approvals, information collection, tracking, and records management related to international engagements; Communicating logistics with SEC staff, including divisions, offices, and individual travelers; Monitoring and reconciling agency-wide international travel budget; Monitoring policy/process compliance and recommending program improvements to better meet the needs of OIA leadership and stakeholders; Assisting with planning, process improvement, protocol, and operations; Supporting special projects, including international conferences, official meetings, and special events for OIA; and Maintaining complete and updated information on international engagements, including time-sensitive requests

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: SK-12: Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/SK-11 level. Specialized experience includes: Maintaining records, data, documents, and files in accordance with policy and best practices; AND Managing multiple high-priority/high-visibility tasks, including multiple short-suspense timelines.; AND Using SharePoint and Excel to manage and share data.
