Printing Plant Worker (Custodial Worker)

Major duties
Perform industrial cleaning of restrooms, offices, storerooms, corridors, stairways and other assigned areas. Perform setups for meetings, such as moving furniture, tables, chairs, pipes, drapes, etc. Use tools and equipment for cleaning around buildings and parking lots, to include snow removal and cleaning and grass cutting, etc. Use tools and lightweight cleaning equipment to perform custodial duties. Maintain cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
What you need to qualify
To qualify for the Printing Plant Worker (Custodial Worker), KX-3566-01 position, applicants must meet the following Screen Out-Element: #1 Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision. Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen-out element. If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT ELEMENT is not sufficient, you will not receive further consideration. In addition to the requirements above, applicants must have the following training, skills, and abilities to perform the typical duties of the position: Proper usage of a variety of cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Perform industrial cleaning duties. Gather and move supplies and equipment. Use lightweight tools and equipment to perform custodial duties. Maintain daily maintenance and cleanliness of equipment used. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement to be considered.
