What you'd do

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major duties

You will advise the manager of a site office on the practical and technical aspects of office administration, to include budgeting, purchasing, supply management, personnel administration, data processing, and files management You will identify and select appropriate software types (spreadsheets, database, word processing, etc.) to meet office needs. You will track all financial, personnel, supply, and other administrative transactions as the documentation flows through the office in both electronic form and on paper. You will maintain an accurate reporting system for the administrative supply inventory and minor/plant property inventory.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing administrative work in an office environment; 2) Knowledge of Navy supply ordering systems and inventory management to include One Touch and ERP and utilizing MILSTRIPs and government credit card 3) Experience receiving, unpacking, sorting materials 4) Keeping inventory records up to date 5) Supply discrepancy reporting (NOTE: Your answer must be supported by information in your resume.) Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
