Major duties
Ensures system requirements and activities necessary to achieve the objectives are identified, met and resolved, including all technical, administrative and/or operational problems and conflicts. Manages the administrative setup structure within DTS and controls access to the major modules of DTS relevant to the access levels. Oversees the operations of the installation of the DTS help desk. Develops and formalizes processes for reporting, tracking issues and problems registered as help desk tickets, classifying help desk tickets, assigning them for corrective action.
What you need to qualify
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-9) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: Managing or working in travel pay operations; maintaining financial management data; providing guidance for automated financial systems to users; demonstrating thorough knowledge of legislation in relation to a financial management; analyzing system output for accuracy and reliability. You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
