This position serves as a IT Cybersecurity Specialist (ENTARCH/AI), located in the Department of Justice, Chief Information Officer, Cybersecurity Services Staff, ICAM & Architecture Directorate in Washington, DC. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior enterprise cybersecurity architecture advisor providing advanced technical expertise in enterprise identity architecture, cybersecurity design, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-integrated security capabilities.

Major duties

The duties and responsibilities for an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (ENTARCH/AI) GS-2210-15 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Leads advisory support for cybersecurity engineering activities. Utilizes problem solving to evaluate enterprise AI cybersecurity architectures. Oversees enterprise cybersecurity identity security activities supporting mission needs. Advises senior leadership on enterprise identity, access, and AI-enabled modernization strategies. Serves as the technical lead for Okta authentication services.

What you need to qualify

To qualify for the position of IT Cybersecurity Specialist (ENTARCH/AI), at GS-2210-15, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below. Basic Qualifications (2210 series): Please refer to the OPM IT Management Series 2210 Qualification Standard for the specific experience requirements for the GS-12 and above positions. AND Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-15 grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable non-Federal experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following duties: Advises leadership on Okta authentication Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA). Leads integration of AI-enabled technologies such as autonomous risk detection, behavioral analytics, and machine-identity governance. You MUST meet all qualification requirements by the 07/15/2026 of this announcement. Your resume must support your responses to the application questionnaire and the qualification requirements.
