About the Position: This position is located at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, Tennessee. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Major duties

Serves as the principal assistant to the Chief of the Clinical Support Division. Provides supervisory and administrative guidance to subordinate staff. Manages the section's budget and establishes priorities for needed personnel, services, supplies, equipment and allocation of available funds. Develops and implements local internal personnel management policies for all employees in the department Coordinates clinical support activities with other hospital departments, division chiefs, and external organizations to ensure integrated, effective patient care and support. Supports medical readiness requirements, contingency planning, and the facility's ability to meet its mission. Ensures compliance with all accreditation and regulatory aspects of the delivery of medical services to include those defined by the organization, DHA, the Joint Commission.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes overseeing daily task delegation; monitoring business operations to include formulating, justifying, and executing assigned budgets; and processing personnel actions such as recruitments and performance awards. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
