What you'd do

You will serve as the principle engineering point of contact for all F/A-18 and EA-18G Test and Evaluation (T&E) execution at NAWCWD for the IPT and PMA-265 of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Major duties

You will work directly with F/A-18 and EA-18G Leadership to implement necessary changes to IPT Vision and Strategies within the Test and Evaluation organization. You will represent the Command on NAVAIR-level committees and working groups, collaborating regularly with NAVAIR Test and Evaluation leadership to align IPT objectives with enterprise-wide directives. You will provide authoritative technical guidance to the PMA/IPT in the areas of test acquisition processes, data requirements, testing procedures, and facilities utilization. You will serve as a formal Software Subject Matter Expert (SME), Flight Clearance Release Authority (FCRA) and Technical and Risk Assessment Decision Authority (TRA-DA).

What you need to qualify

In Addition to meeting the Basic Education Requirements: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (DP-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a Professional Engineer demonstrating the ability to apply systems engineering principles to the verification, validation, and testing phases of aerospace or weapon systems. 1. Experience participating in tactical-level test planning 2. Experience analyzing test data to solve complex technical problems 3.
