What you'd do

You will serve as a Wargaming Exercise Specialist in the Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP), Training Department of TACTICAL TRAINING GROUP PACIFIC.

Major duties

You will provide technical expertise in facilitating wargaming configuration and execution in support of various fleet synthetic training events. You will develop and oversee the program plan for designing, integrating, operating, and maintaining Modeling and Simulation Systems, Training Systems, Combat Systems, and Information Technology Systems. You will participate in International, Department of Defense, Joint, and Navy planning committees and seminars You will negotiate on issues related to the development and integration of Pacific Fleet, Navy, Joint, and International Distributed Training. You will represent COMPACFLT Distributed Training issues to Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, US Joint Forces Command, US Pacific Command, and other Nations' Militaries. You will manage and mentor personnel to obtain effective and efficient systems integration in order to conduct exercise scenarios directly supporting operations and training of units and staffs.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and evaluating modeling and simulation (M&S) systems, training systems, combat systems, and information technology systems (Networks & C2 Systems) to plan and execute warfighting training and exercises or administer a Fleet Synthetic Training program.
