What you'd do

You will serve as a PROCUREMENT ANALYST in the MARKETING AND ADVERTISING DEPARTMENT of NVRECRUITNGCMD.

Major duties

You will review procedures to determine overall program effectiveness and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. You will plan the overall approach to meet contracting program objectives for procuring a variety of requirements. You will conduct economic studies required to justify and document major contractual procurements. You will provide complex substantive management support services in the area of cost and price analyses and market surveys, and provide results to higher-level authorities.

What you need to qualify

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Adhering to federal, agency, and local contract methods, procedures, and regulations applicable to the acquisition and contract administration of generalized and specialized processional services; 2) Developing contract statements of objectives, requests for proposals, contract modifications, etc. for single and multi-year contracts; 3) Planning appropriate strategies for procurement of complex requirements and conducting negotiations in various types of contracts; and 4) Communicating effectively, orally and in writing, to brief, negotiate, plan, organize and meet deadlines.
