The United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) at Los Angeles Air Force Base, California is searching for SAP Security Education and Training Awareness Specialist (NH-1750-04, GS 14/15 equivalent). Description: As a SAP Security Education and Training Awareness Specialist, you will directly safeguard the nation's most sensitive technological edges by transforming how we protect critical military advantages. Operating at the heart of Space Systems Command, you will design and execute highly innovative, multi-dimensional training programs tailored to a diverse and rapidly expanding workforce tasked with deploying next-generation space domain capabilities. By blending creative instructional design with rigorous Special Access Program (SAP) compliance standards, you will empower personnel to seamlessly navigate complex security landscapes, proactively identify vulnerabilities, and prevent the compromise of classified assets. Your unique talent for translating intricate security protocols into engaging, high-impact learning experiences will directly fortify our operational integrity, ensuring that those who defend our nation from the ultimate high ground are fully equipped, vigilant, and mission-ready. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader holding a Bachelor's degree and an active Top-Secret clearance, possessing the proven ability to motivate and guide a workforce through a dynamic organizational structure. Exhibiting a mastery of problem-solving for complex challenges, this individual must communicate seamlessly both orally and in writing to build robust internal and external relationships, expertly advising everyone from field-level representatives to senior command leaders. As a specialist intimately familiar with teaching technical and non-technical policies to a diverse community, the candidate will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and delivering comprehensive, multi-modal education programs-spanning online, in-person, and print formats-while simultaneously mentoring and equipping others in the art of effective instruction. Ultimately, this professional will leverage their strategic leadership and instructional design expertise to ensure critical security protocols are comprehensively understood and successfully integrated across the mission space. Key Skills and Abilities: 1. Comprehensive knowledge of requirements, methods, techniques, and procedures pertinent to education, primarily instructional systems design that enhance the ability to plan, direct, coordinate, and incorporate into security education and training that encompasses all security disciplines. 2. Knowledge of professional continuing education-based programs and objectives to identify training requirements, methods, techniques and procedures to develop programs by obtaining training resources that will meet Space Force security education objectives. 3. Comprehensive knowledge of contract administration and quality assurance procedures sufficient to manage and monitor a variety of contracts. 4. Oral and written communications skill of sufficient quality to gain acceptance of new methodologies, advise/apprise senior leadership of relevant/important issues, articulate technical information and processes in meetings, produce clear and useful reports, interface with other government agencies, and train office staff. 5. Skill in analyzing, planning, and adjusting work operations and program objectives to meet emergencies, changing programs, and product requirements with available resources and with minimum sacrifice of quality or quantity of work and meet deadlines.
