What you'd do
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.? About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at McAlester, OK. This position performs functions involving receipt and issue of Retail Supplies ordered by various personnel.
Major duties
Purchase materials and supplies for multiple organizations and projects Update and maintain multiple databases of supply information Track product flow from origin to final delivery Conduct research for required supply information and reconstruct transactions

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Interpret and apply supply regulations and policies to make purchases; Use an automated supply system to manage property book items and Compile supply information and data to identify discrepancies This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next or second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05 or GS-06). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05/06).
