What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Maintenance Management Section of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.

Major duties

You will serve as the lead coordinator for the Materiel Readiness Branch Supply section and to provide analytic support in supply, fiscal, and logistic support for the Exercise Support Division (ESD) and maintenance activities. You will be responsible to train, distribute, assign and monitor tasks to the Supply Section employees. You will serve as the primary point of contact and the subject matter expert for ESD fiscal section and work under the direct supervision of the Materiel Readiness Officer (MRO) and receive guidance from the Assistant MRO and MRS Supply Chief. You will assist in overall continuity during change of Marine personnel, ensuring the continued efficient operation of the Materiel Readiness Section. You will be familiar with applicable Automated Information Systems (AIS) management reports and systems, technical publications, and web-based research programs. You will facilitate and coordinate the development, submission, and execution of authorized purchases requests, to include but not limited to contracts and off-line requisitions. You will review work in progress and completed work in order to ensure adherence to applicable laws, policies, and procedures within required deadlines. You will coordinate, and execute if required, cross training for all Supply Section employees across all Supply functional areas. You will perform as a work lead for two civilian personnel within the ESD MRS procurement section, distributing and balancing workload among personnel in accordance with established workflow and timely accomplishments of ESD mission requirements.

What you need to qualify

GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing and allocating fiscal resources. Experience with procurement vehicles available to the government. Experience with Navy or Marine Corps supply and fiscal programs. GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing the efficiency of financial, supply and maintenance operations; interpreting program plans, policies.
