THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a MANAGEMENT ANALYST, Position Description Number D2505000 and is part of the WY 153d Maintenance Operations Flight, Wyoming Air National Guard. This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.

Major duties

This position is in the 153d Airlift Wing's 153d Maintenance Operations Flight. The primary purpose is to provide information and analyses to all levels of management using the assessments to answer the why, how, when and where questions. 1) Retrieve and analyze maintenance data, present results to management. Interprets findings from maintenance data and the use of statistical techniques. Identifies trends and significant deviations from plans, schedules, and workload estimates. 2) Controls, manages and maintains the Maintenance Information System(s) (MIS). Develops policies and procedures for MIS application within maintenance activities. Oversees the identification and correction of file errors within the database. 3) Conducts Special Studies to assess Health of the Unit Readiness (HUR). Performs in-depth comprehensive analysis of complex and prioritized unit readiness issues. 4) Analyzes performance data to determine manpower, equipment, and facilities maintenance capabilities. Provides in-depth analysis of maintenance manning and equipment, material and facility limitations to determine the impact each has on unit and mission effectiveness. ** This is NOT an all-inclusive list of duties. **

AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: The consideration of qualified eligible candidates will be as follows: Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ANG employees assigned to the 153 MOF. Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard (ANG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard. Area 4: All current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard. Area 6: Current military service members to include the US Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states' Air National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position. TECHNICIAN INFO Type of Appointment: Permanent Tenure: Group 1 or 2 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm FLSA: Exempt Telework: The duties of this position require primary physical presence. Situational teleworking may be considered on a case-by-case basis. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must possess experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management. Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience, education, or training which has provided application of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management. Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management. NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from MM/YYYY - MM/YYYY (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar - 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement. COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: Must possess AFSC 2R2X1, Maintenance Management. DRIVER'S LICENSE: Must possess a valid state's driver's license.
