What you'd do

You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER in the FST ENGINEERING DIVISION of FLTREADCEN EAST supporting the Presidential Helicopter VH-92 FST.

Major duties

You will investigate, research, and determine applicability of modifications for the program. You will analyze/recommend adjustments to specified service life intervals for aircraft/weapons and equipment. You will determine the best approach to resolve complex technical engineering problems. You will manage the requirements for qualified personnel, processes, facilities, and ensures training/requirements are translated onto sound engineering products. You will ensure safe and prudent operations through technical assessment of problems requiring platform grounding and or restricted operations, plus develops solutions to those problems.

What you need to qualify

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Mastering concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and/or financing and their relation to subordinate and senior levels; 2) Developing, recommending and implementing budgetary/financial policies; 3) Interpreting, assessing and projecting potential impact of new/revised Congressional legislation; 4) Analyzing, reviewing, and interpreting financial execution data and resolving variances; 5) Communicating clearly both orally and in writing for the purpose of providing information and guidance to management or customers at all levels.
