What you'd do

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER- Fleet Support Team Lead on the VH-92 FST of FLTREADCEN EAST located at Patuxent River, MD.

Major duties

You will serve as the programmatic authority for the FST workload performed at this site and offsite support pertaining to the associated FST. You will direct work that has significant impact on national defense as well as on aircraft/commodity and systems maintenance/acquisition. You will perform day to day supervisory oversight of all division/branch/subordinate level program analyst and administrative support personnel associated with the FST. You will oversee development of solutions to fleet-reported issues and ensure safe and prudent operations through programmatic assessment of problems requiring platform grounding or restricted operations. You will exercise authority to oversee the overall planning and direction, and timely execution of programs relating to the integration and interface of systems to meet mission needs or operational requirements.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Expertise in Fleet Support Team (FST) Program Management, 2)developing and implementing policies, controls and operating procedures, 3) effectively managing operational requirements, and developing acquisition and sustainment strategies.
