PROGRAM ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Communications and Information Systems Division of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
Major duties
You will keep abreast new developments within Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat systems, Intelligence and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) technology disciplines as they relate to assigned projects and C5ISR Modernization policy. You will be a technical resource for C5ISR systems and provide technical background, analysis, assessment, research, and advice to leadership that may be impacted by the installation and integration of new and upgraded systems. You will analyze risks of maturity elements specifically documented in instructions and manuals to determine operational necessity and readiness of C5ISR systems to be installed onboard ships. You will forward the initial analysis to the appropriate area lead analyst for validation, verification, and corrective action, while developing formatted results of analysis for transmission with recommendation to proceed or not to with installation You will write and coordinate requests for modernization data products and directly queries for Interoperability and Risk assessment for required data.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing, researching, and advising command leadership on the installation, integration, and interoperability of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat System, Intelligence and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems; 2) Assessing the risks and readiness of C5ISR system installations using database tools; 3) Developing and forwarding data-driven analysis and recommendations regarding system installations to lead analysts; 4) Maintaining quality control standards for afloat C5ISR installations and writing or coordinating requests for modernization data products; 5) interfacing with all levels of command and technical specialists to research and resolve complex modernization, integration, and readiness issues.
