Major duties

You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist and holds the position and title of Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM). You will perform as the SWFPAC Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) overseeing/managing SWFPAC's Cyber Security (CS) program. You will receive technical direction from the SPCIO and NWS Branch ISSMs and operates within the respective programs to implement Cybersecurity oversight that meets SSP’s mission needs. You will be responsible for integrating Enterprise Information Technology, NWS and Cybersecurity components into an effective Cybersecurity program that is responsive to the mission. You will set objectives and performs compliance oversight of Cybersecurity activities including Network and Systems Accreditation, IA workforce Management and Cyber Defense operations. You will develop Cybersecurity performance measurements and assess the effectiveness of programs including continuous internal/external monitoring, assessment, and reporting of user/system violations. You will interpret higher level guidance, analyses IT industry trends, and incorporates new IT delivery techniques/strategies into a comprehensive Cybersecurity program across networks and platforms.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Maintaining IT security of network systems though network assessment and/or evaluations, developing technical requirements or standard operating procedures, and provide guidance or direction to maintain cybersecurity compliance. Experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
