Supervisory Industrial Specialist
What you'd do
You will serve as a Production Manager in the Manufacturing Operations Branch, Prototyping & Manufacturing Division, Prototyping, Manufacturing & SE & ALRE TEST Dept. of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Major duties
You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. You will establish long-term task priorities, determine work procedures and methods, and guide employee's work. You will evaluate work performance of subordinates and recommend official performance ratings. You will motivate employees and/or supervisors under your leadership to perform and leads the work unit(s) through developing organizational objectives. You will complete and/or approve timekeeping documents and leave requests, training requests, travel orders, and miscellaneous forms (e.g., relating to workplace safety and on-the-job injuries, security-related access and clearance issues, etc.).
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-02 / GS 6-8) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Planning, designing, analyzing, improving and installing integrated work systems comprised of people, materials and equipment for use in producing or maintaining ALRE systems and components; 2) Furnishing technical information, assisting and advising on the integration of diverse, technically complex systems and standards as they relate to the prototyping, disassemble, manufacture, overhaul/repair, and assemble of ALRE and Support Equipment; 3) Planning work and preparing performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work; 4) Ensuring sound fiscal management by observing and applying STRL position management and classification principles; analyzing, monitoring, and reducing costs and forecasting budgets.
