Human Resource Assistant (O/A)
What you'd do
You will serve as a Human Resource Assistant (O/A) in the FRCSE of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Major duties
You will provide personnel clerical services and technical support in a variety of personnel areas. You will provide information to employees, managers, and human resource advisors by phone, email, and in person. You will provide support regarding procedures and requirements related to recruitment and placement programs.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Analyzing factual data, identifying the scope and nature of problems or issues, and determining the appropriate action among many alternatives. Providing customer service to employees, applicants, and managers. Processing personnel or administrative actions as well as maintaining personnel records and coordinating with onboarding activities. Reviewing forms and documentation for completeness and accuracy to ensure onboarding activities are done accurately. Using automated office or human resources information systems to enter, update, and retrieve data as well as preparing routine correspondence of reports.
