Major duties

You will review construction, special projects, and shore infrastructure plans for potential impacts on fish and wildlife, endangered or threatened species and their critical habitats, historical sites and wetlands. You will be responsible for annual intregrated pest management reviews and compliance oversight of the installation program. You will conduct technical reviews of contractor submittals for environmental restoration program work. You will work with stakeholders re resolve cultural resource issues. You will monitor conformance with environmental requirements by implementing and managing the installation environmental management system program.

What you need to qualify

GS-7 In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position (see Education), your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. 1) Utilizing Natural Resources experience including wildlife identification and control; 2) Assisting with preparing US Army Corps of Engineers Joint Permits to support mission: 3) Managing pest plans and operations; and 4) Identifying and management of wetlands GS-9 In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position (see Education), your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing Natural Resources experience including wildlife identification and control; 2) Preparing US Army Corps of Engineers Joint Permits to support mission; 3) Overseeing pest management plans and operations; and 4) Reviewing projects to identify potential natural resources impacts.
