What you'd do

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of COMNAVREG SE JAX.

Major duties

You will maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with accounting and financial regulations. You will analyze financial information to resolve discrepancies in the system reporting process. You will determine content of reports to provide managers with data relative to the status of audit readiness and sustainment. You will delegate tasks to junior employees based on work priorities and individual capabilities. You will train employees how to obtain and use financial reports within a financial management system.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: *Experience serving as a senior financial analyst for Budget Execution in assigned programs, coordinating budget execution among Region Program Directors/managers/analysts and senior management; *Experience assisting the Budget Officer and Program Support/Execution Manager with preparation of budget exhibits and formulation, supports routine financial reporting and resolution of problems (e.g. unmatched transactions, reconciliations, problem payments); *Experience serving as a Delegated Authorizing official, including development, determination, and interpretation of budgetary policies and practices; *Experience providing departmental representation in matters of financial audit and program review; *Experience planning work, setting priorities and scheduling work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work seeking to improve production and quality of work.
