About the Position: This position serves as the MTF MEPRS Program Manager and is the technical subject matter expert for systems used within the section to contact DHA MEPRS program personnel within Womack Army Medical Center, Directorate of Resource Management, Fort Bragg, NC. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Major duties
Maintain Medical treatment facility automated systems such as Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS) program and Defense Medical Human Resources System (DMHRSi) programs for the organization and its area of responsibility. Conduct management studies involving health care analysis of workload and expense data for medical treatment centers. Prepare reports and schedule processes to run, collect and analyze data to determine the effective applications of systems such as MEPRS/DMHRSi. Plan and execute assignments and develop decisions both independently and in consultation with leadership. Review records, reports, functional statements and other pertinent sources to gather, correlate and analyze data in order to resolve operational deficiencies and to obtain accurate workload reports.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes which includes 1) collecting and evaluating or analyzing data from automated systems; 2) recommending changes to organizational processes; Review and retrieve reports for compliance AND 3) collaborating with planning the work of subordinates. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. [remove LL.M., if unrelated] in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: : Business Administration or Business Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
