What you'd do

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of COMNAVREG SE JAX.

Major duties

You will compile information from multiple sources to create financial management or budget reports. You will use a financial management system to create, edit, and manipulate data, files, or other information to include Navy ERP and Wide Area Workflow. You will analyze financial management control procedures to recommend process improvements for operational effectiveness with regards to commitments, obligations, account payable, and rejected transactions.

What you need to qualify

For the GS-07Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing financial management systems to input, sort, and generate financial data; 2) Applying administrative rules, regulations and procedures associated with financial recordkeeping, reporting, processing, and keeping track of financial transactions; 3) Reviewing and researching financial transactions and supporting documentation for reconciliation. For the GS-09Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Entering funding authorizations into various financial automated systems; 2) Processing accounting transactions for a wide variety of functions (i.e. commitments, obligations, accounts payable, rejected transactions); 3) Developing financial processes to improve the production and quality of work; 4) Interpreting and applying federal financial policies and regulations to ensure compliance with program requirements.
