This job opportunity is for an AVIATION RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, position description NGD2934000, within the 141 ARF SQ of the New Jersey Air National Guard. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position. The purpose of this position is to supervise, establish and direct a planned, systematic approach of a quality assurance program designed to provide the maintenance managers confidence in aircraft, aircraft systems, products or supporting processes.
Major duties
As an AVIATION RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0301-9, you will: Provide preflight briefings to military aircrews, reviews and evaluates proposed flight plans reviews and evaluates aircrew currencies and orders Provide preflight briefings to military and civilian aircrews, reviews and evaluates proposed flight plans Perform the testing, and evaluation of new ARMS patches, updates, or releases and performs the Installation of ARMS on computers for new users or on replacement equipment Control and monitor the resource and training requirements of assigned rated and non-rated aircrew for mission accomplishment and safety of flight Work independently to provide aircrew with information and assistance for planning and conducting safe flight operations Perform other Duties as Assigned
What you need to qualify
General Experience: Experience, education, or training interpreting, explaining, and/or applying a variety of regulations and procedures and using computer and automation systems. Specialized Experience: Must have at least 24 months experience, education, or training in the following: Arranging or procuring transportation for personnel, cargo or freight. Pre and post auditing of freight bills, bills of lading, and personnel transportation vouchers. Coordinating and negotiating with organizations/personnel both orally and in writing to resolve differences/problems.
