INTERDISCIPLINARY CLINICAL SUPERVISOR
What you'd do
You will serve as an Interdisciplinary Clinical Supervisor in the Fleet and Family Readiness (N9) Division of NAS PENSACOLA. This is an interdisciplinary position which may be filled by any of the following series: FAP CLINICAL SUPERVISOR (0101) PSYCHOLOGIST (0180) SOCIAL WORKER (0185) Local Commuting Area Only
Major duties
You will supervise/oversee all aspects of the installation Family Advocacy Program (FAP). You will organize, set, and monitor workflow of FAP. You will control attendance and leave ensuring adequate work force is available at all times to accomplish the mission. You will design and/or collaborate on special programs, services, and information and awareness presentations. You will ensure FAP compliance and adherence to FAP certification standards.
What you need to qualify
This position is a TIER THREE clinical care practitioner with clinical supervisor eligibility. Applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements as outlined in SECNAVINST 1754.8: 1. Possess at least a masters or doctoral degree in one of the following disciplines: a. Master's degree from a program accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP) or an equivalent degree OR b. Master's degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) or an equivalent degree OR c. Master's degree in Social Work from a graduate school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or an equivalent degree OR d. Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited university or professional school and a one-year APA accredited clinical internship 2. State or U.S. territory license or certification that provides legal authority to provide clinical services as an independent practitioner in the fields of Licensed Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology. 3. When the state or U.S. territory licensing or certification requirements include a written examination, candidates for privileging, must have achieved a passing score on that examination. 4. Must have engaged in two years, full-time, post-masters supervised clinical experience AND have two years, full-time clinical experience post independent licensure or certification. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience servicing all aspects of a Family Advocacy Program (FAP) such as case management, clinical intervention, victim advocacy, prevention/education and home visitation services. Experience designing and implementing employee incentive programs, employee development and mentoring programs to produce effective employee performance. Experience identifying gaps in existing services and providing results and recommendations to leadership. Experience developing policies, procedures and directives related to an advocacy program.
