Major duties

You will provide advice to managers and personnel on the hiring process. You will analyze the duties of a position to determine the correct title, pay plan, series and grade level. You will recommend solutions to solve recruitment and placement issues. You will assess organizational needs regarding succession planning, recruitment and training.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing advice to managers and personnel on the hiring process; 2) Analyzing the duties of a position to determine the correct title, pay plan, series and grade level; Recommending solutions to solve recruitment and placement issues; and 4) Assessing organizational needs regarding succession planning, recruitment and training. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
