What you need to qualify

ASSESSMENT FACTORS 1. Demonstrated ability to analyze key information and evaluate the effectiveness of alternative solutions, courses of action, and strategies to address complex, controversial, and multi-faceted targeting intelligence problems. This includes making defensible recommendations under time constraints. 2. Demonstrated ability to apply innovative approaches to obtain feedback and drive continuous improvement in processes, products, and services while considering emerging organizational issues and changing mission requirements. 3. Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the IC and uses this knowledge constructively in establishing goals and priorities and accomplishing work. 4. Serves as an advisor on substantive taskings and initiatives to support senior Agency leadership. 5. Works as a team member and leader, sharing information with colleagues and others across the Agency and Intelligence Community on best practices and lessons learned. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1. Extensive target intelligence experience at the technical, operational and theater-strategic levels of war, including targeting during combat operations, as well as integrating target intelligence into joint targeting processes across the full cycle. 2. Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level process improvement or modernization initiatives for targeting organizations, to include documenting best practices, standardizing workflows, and improving timeliness/quality of outputs. 3. Demonstrated experience building and delivering targeting-focused training or senior leader education (for example, seminars for incoming targeting/fires leadership), including development of curriculum and assessment of training effectiveness.
