FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DIVISION of COMNAVREGSW SDIEGO.
Major duties
You will serve as the Navy Region Southwest Level 5 Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for the Government-wide Commercial Purchase Card. You will advise financial management staff on the application of funding policy and regulatory requirements. You will explain financial laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to managers, personnel, or customers. You will conduct monthly, semi-annual, and 18-month Procurement Performance Management Assessment Program Review (PPMAP) audits of the activity GCPC operations to ensure compliance with all pertinent regulations and directives.
What you need to qualify
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Working in or overseeing a Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) program; 2) Conducting compliance reviews and providing training for purchase card participants; 3) Experience as a liaison between purchase card merchant, vendors, and program participants; and 4) Experience as a Purchase card buyer, and/or Approving Official (AO) *NOTE: This experience must be supported by your resume. GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience in the role as a purchase card buyer and/ or Approving Official (AO); 2) Compiling reports, answering data calls, providing customer service, conducting records management, and analyzing internal policy documents and reviews; 3) Reconciling transactions; and 4) Reviewing and/or approving Purchase Card requests. *NOTE: Your answer must be supported by information in your resume.
