Major duties
You will provide engineering support for the Data Link Systems Branch at Point Mugu and other remote locations. You will provide sustainment for GPS Systems, Command and Control Transmitter (CCT) Systems, RF Radio Systems, and SATCOM Systems. You will provide engineering, logistics, and surge operational support to enable this group meets Sea Range operational requirements. You will research problems and recommend solutions to be addressed by investment or maintenance projects. You will provide project management for Sustainment and Investment projects. You will provide integration support involving electrical, electronic, RF, and data link subsystems to improve system performance and operational availability.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provide engineering, logistics, and surge operational support to meet operational requirements; 2) Evaluate deficiencies and address problem areas to provide better quality data products; 3) Research problems and recommend solutions to be addressed by investment or maintenance projects; 4) Work closely with and receive direction and guidance from Manager/Supervisor to overcome obstacles to ensure goals are met.
