What you'd do

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major duties

You will select, analyze, assemble, summarize and compile multi-faceted, substantive information on statues, regulations, decisions of court and administrative tribunals, including formal and complete actions. You will prepare informative and instructional materials for general use. You will review real estate expense claims submitted with Permanent Change of Station (PCS) claims and adjudicate the amount the claiming employee is entitled to. You will evaluate requests for legal sufficiency and prepare and sign final approving correspondence.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience assisting attorneys by performing legal research using tools such as WestLaw or other legal databases to identify relevant statutes, regulations, and case law. Experience gathering and compiling documents for litigation support, administrative proceedings, or in response to official information requests. Experience applying laws and regulations, such as the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) or Privacy Act, to process requests for records. Experience performing administrative duties in a legal office, such as managing office files, dockets, and correspondence. Experience effectively and efficiently communicating, both orally and in writing, with personnel both internal and external to MARMC. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
